Yes exactly. But sometimes the server drops packets. That means one minute you're did next to me then you disappear and reappear in another place. In the original cod games there were servers that only accepted fast pings. But we have two accept that there are players all over the world on this game with connections and PC's that can struggle a bit.

I have a ping of 9ms but I get lag with some players because I have to wait to receive their data: health, gun, position, bullets etc. That's what creates lag. But I'm ok with it.n,

Server lag in game is usually a struggling client pc trying to send and receive other players data while creating your individual game state.

Don't forget that in multiplayer your computer is processing the positions of other players and all that goes with it.
