The development team is working on a patch that blocks newcomers from collecting coins until a predefined period has elapsed. It will take several experiments and adjustments to validate the effectiveness of the system. Another patch concerning the bosses should be implemented at the same time.
This issue is taken very seriously, and finding a balance without penalizing innocent players is challenging.

Adding more coins in normal mode is not planned at the moment. However, it could be possible to add more of them during events. I will send your idea to the development team.
