Did you install any extensions/plugins to chrome?

Did you change local parameters on Windows ? (i know that some japanese games need changment, and it can trouble chrome ?).

I belive i did, but I took it off right after cz it was dumb.. it was some free movie thing that worked without the extension

Check programms and extensions for anything you don't know what it is..
