Turrets - Forau - 02-11-2015

Dear Fabio, .. 1


Had an idea about turrets, to make it harder in game ... again 1

* 1 type turret per game & player.
* Can be moved. - ( The drop weapon function maybe? )

A. Damage - Takes damage, has to be repaired or it be finally lost.
- Engineer - points for repair

B. Reload - Has to be reloaded , well...or it will not shoot.
- Armor - points for reload


maybe you have more ideas here ...

Regarding turrets
What you think about this one :

*Damage
works like the barrel - Damage level 999 , has to be repaired or it be lost.

*Reload (or it will not shoot.)
999 rounds then it Has to be reloaded

Hm there are still some questions:
- When will it be removed? After some time or only if damaged too much?
- How can you reload it? By ammo of your weapon or you need to buy in the shop?
- Who can reload/repair turrets?

after xx? seconds if no reload or level 0 on damage.

2.
Placing a ammo box near it. ..same like giving a player now.

3.
reload : armor ONLY.
repair : engineer ONLY.
engineer should not even have a ammo box, takes away armor function or were you thinking removing armor class and keep only engineer?


I think it will make the game harder to attend to the turrets, but if it is a bad idea or if it does not work,
leave it as it is now.

What your thoughts Fabio... ?

1. But if a player aleays refills the turret it will never disappear and maybe some others can't buy turrets then because of the limit

3. Okay is good; Yea maybe i should remove that. If you want we can have a meeting later today evening (23:00 ? )


Really harder if they buy the turret once and it will stay most likely forever if it's being refilled?

What about that the armor character can reload but not by the ammo box but just like the engineer can upgrade now turrets.
And the engineer character can repair it the same way.

But instead of full recover/ammo it can only repair/reload it for half.

Like you start with 999 bullets.
first reload you can give it full ammo.
the second reload you only can give it 500 bullets.
the third is 250.
forth is 125.
and so on.

And if possible they can only do one turret in 5 a 10 seconds.
This way other people can get a change to do it to other turrets. (now it is who can run the fastest that get a lot or turrets)

It is a Good idea Soldier.

Fabio got a point about the limited turrets per player & lifetime(reload/repair).
Maybe limited to maximum 1 reload & maximum 1 repair?

Maybe we should think this through carefully,
