Pink Orbs - Short7 - 12-04-2015
Fabio,
I just recently played the new update and its mother f*cking great but there are two problems,
1. Every time the boss zombies, or mixed zombies come on I get chased by ALL of the orbs
2. Everyones ping is at 100 (mines usually 50) and mine jumps from 100 to 999 at random times and I have never had this problem before this update, if there is anything u can think of as to why i'm having these problems please let me know.

First of all, that has nothing to do with the christmas update.

Long7 your ping is high because you are in USA and the server is based in Germany, if you check other player's ping from US you'll see all are around 150.
When i play on US servers mine is around 150/170, so i think it's normal.

The Ping is simply the time (in milliseconds) your pc takes to communicate with the server.
So how further a way how higher your ping.
The server is located in Europe (Germany) so the minimal time it roughly takes for the US is 100ms from the east coast up to 150ms from the west coast.
So your ping can't be lower then 100ms for the RotU server.
If the server was located in the US you probably had a ping around 50ms.

If you got a slow conenction less than 200 kb/s you can have problems with RotU, too.
The packetflow needs 200 kb/s at a max. And if you dont have that you get 999 ping and CI.
But I think it's jsut the distance to the server location

The spikes can be caused by many things, internet supplier, the distance, connections, the lines so to speak.
Even bad weather...
It is annoying , i know...
I was thinking that Fabio considering of building a Death Star and that size on receiver so we dont get these problems....
