Speaking of Paintball, here I am when I used play semi-professional paintball back in the early 90's. This is out of Action Pursuit Magazine.

And I don't see them wearing wearing a big fluffy winter jacket (only for pussies ) or have orange tips on the gun.
(In quite a few countries you are obligated to have a bright coloured tip, but some not or only during transport. So far I read)

Further if you look closely in the pics you see people wearing bracelets around there upper arms.
Indicating it is some kind of match.

So if I where you, I should not rule out airsoft so quickly.

It is airsoft. The orange barrelhead isn't used in europe. Only usa. I'm not wearing much gear cause it was 26c° that day.
